Our craftsmen cut window and door openings with great precision. We then fit them with an exposed pine timber "buck" or a hidden conventional sub-frame to make window installation and trimming-out simple and clean.

The log walls of handcrafted log homes settle over time but our maintenance free, self-adjusting settling boards above the openings adapt with the walls. This gives you the peace of mind that comes with knowing your John DeVries log home is designed to last more than a lifetime.

Log stairs and railings are hand-made by our highly skilled and experienced crew creating sculpted cedar log railings and half-log, or slabbed, timber stairways.
